I had to have my winter rims refurbished before putting them on because they were in horrible shape and one actually started leaking around the valve. The weird colour (not quite matte, but it’s non-metallic) was a slight fuckup on my part when it came to chosing how I want them painted. The colour samples that I was given were on slightly rough metal and therefore appeared shinier than what the paint ended up looking like on perfectly smooth rims. Still, the grey colour is growing on me and I like it more and more every time I see my car.

Still, they look good on the car. If memory serves, you’re in WI or somewhere similar?

It’s clearly an Arizona plate.
